Features

Everything in NexaPanel v1

A complete tour of what the private-alpha build does today. We describe only what ships and is validated — no roadmap features are presented as current.

Applications Center

Create, list, and manage apps through a clear state machine: draft → provisioning → running / stopped / failed.

Node.js deployment

Tenant-scoped install/build, a fixed-template systemd unit, reserved port, and reverse proxy to 127.0.0.1.

Laravel deployment

Composer install, a fixed artisan sub-command allowlist, per-tenant PHP-FPM pool, optional queue worker & scheduler.

Static & PHP hosting

Classic website hosting via the Sites/Domains/Files modules, served per-tenant.

Domains & SSL

Domains, subdomains, and Let's Encrypt certificates with HTTP→HTTPS redirect and auto-renew.

File manager

Path-jailed, owner-scoped file operations: browse, edit, upload, compress/extract.

Logs

Tail nginx and application logs — secret-redacted, line-capped, and path-jailed.

Database tools

Per-tenant database provisioning on demand (PostgreSQL & MariaDB, loopback-bound).

Update Center

Installed-vs-latest status, prepare/verify/stage, and a panel-safe apply with rollback.

Scoped RBAC

A dedicated app_tester role limited to the Applications Center.

Security architecture

Deny-by-default firewall, loopback databases, socket-only root agent, enforced 2FA.

Backups & rollback

Nightly checksummed local backups; documented reversible upgrades.

Scope note. NexaPanel is in private alpha (0.1.0-alpha.7). Features may change between releases, and some capabilities are intentionally limited while we harden the core. See Known limitations.
